 The department has 17 doctors - stomatologists including: 10 therapists - stomatologists, 2 stomatologists - surgeons, parodontist pediatric stomatologist, 4 stomatologists - orthopedist, adviser - implantologist, 7 dental mechanics, 17 nurses. There are two candidates of medical sciences, 14 doctors of the highest qualification category.The department of dentistry is equipped with the modern equipment of leading companies. Doctors are using new methods of anesthesia and modern computer technologies in diagnostics of stomatologic diseases - digital orthopantomograph, computer tomograph, radiovisiograph with built in intraoral camera, imaging services. Due to these techniques doctors obtain full information about teeth, bone stock, dental ligaments and joints. Our department has computer program "Logic caries detector" which allows to reveal in 100 % latent caries cavities. In case of necessity we could carry bacteriological research of contents of gingival pocket.
