Have your skin spots tested – save your life!

On 26th May, 2014 Russia will be holding a Melanoma Day for the 8th consecutive year.  Melanoma Day is an annual international campaign aimed at prevention and early detection of melanoma, as well as other malignant skin lesions. The campaign started in 1999, when the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology founded Euromelanoma committee. The Russian Melanoma Day is sponsored by the National Alliance of Dermatologists and Cosmetologists and La Roche-Posay brand.

Melanoma is a malignant skin tumour of pigment-producing cells – melanocytes. Melanoma is commonly caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Early detection of melanoma can give you up to a 90% chance of favourable outcome.  For this reason regular consultations with a dermatologist are vital for preserving your health.

Melanoma Day gives you an opportunity to get a free consultation with a dermatologist in “Medincentre”, have your moles and skin spots examined with a dermatoscope and receive personal recommendations on melanoma prevention or treatment.

To get a free appointment for 26th May 2014, please call the Melanoma Day hotline: 8-800-2000-345. The hotline for booking your appointments will be available from 21st April till 22nd May (7:00 till 22:00).

For additional information on Melanoma Day please visit the campaign’s website: www.melanomaday.ru.

The Customer Relations Department of Medincentre is launching a program for cooperation with foreign hospitals. Our patients will soon have an opportunity to get treatment abroad in our partner clinics – high-profile medical institutions of Europe and China. Medincentre, in its turn, will offer initial diagnostics at its site, assist with the preparation for treatment, provide organizational support throughout the treatment course and, if necessary, propose a choice of rehabilitation options when a patient returns to Moscow.
While the preparation for launching the program is still underway, please follow the latest news on our website.
