News of department of ophthalmology Since February, 2011 in the ophthalmology department of Medincentre are planned regular consultations of professor Dmitry Dementyev . Dmitry Dementyev is the clinical professor of Pavia university (Italy), member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, member of the European Society of Cataracta and Refractive Surgeons. 23.02.2012
Prevention of consequences of hot weather Try to avoid to be on open air early in the morning, and in the hottest part of the day;
Drink mineral water, fresh fruit juices, dairy products, oxygen cocktails, take polyvitamins;
Give the preference to fruit and vegetable diet;
It’s not recommended to drink soft drinks, alcohol;
Reduce the sport activity and physical training;
Wear natural tissues. Wash clothes and linen daily;
If it’s possible avoid using cosmetic and perfumes;
Take a shower a few times a day (water temperature 30-35 C);
wash the floor daily. When you leave the house don’t leave the windows open;
To people suffering from various chronic diseases it is extremely necessary to consult the doctor and to make correction of therapy for the period of air pollution.

Prevention of consequences of air pollution
If it’s possible leave the city to the regions, not affected by the fire;
Try to avoid to be on open air early in the morning, and in the hottest part of the day;
Drink mineral water, fresh fruit juices, dairy products, oxygen cocktails, take polyvitamins;
Give the preference to fruit and vegetable diet;
It’s not recommended to drink soft drinks, alcohol;
Reduce the sport activity and physical training;
Wear natural tissues. Wash clothes and linen daily;
At the expressed smoke content in the air it is recommended to wear a humidified mask, wipe the open parts of the body by humidified napkins. If it’s possible avoid using cosmetic and perfumes;
Take a shower a few times a day (water temperature 30-35 C);
Avoid opening windows and doors, if it is possible cover closed doors and windows by humid tissues, wash the floor daily. When you leave the house don’t leave the windows open;

Ceremony of official inauguration of 640-slice dynamic volume computer tomography scanner Aquilion-1 by "Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation". On May, 24th 2010 in the Medincentre’s hospital was inaugurated the first in Russian Federation 640-slice dynamic volume computer tomography scanner Aquilion-1 by "Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation". Aquilion-1 represents the next step in development of computer tomography technology which will be revolutionary for the medical purposes. It is the latest achievement in multy slice radiology and a step to the future for a computer tomography. The ceremony was inaugurated by General director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia M. Vanin, Head of the Main Administration for service to the diplomatic corps V.
